Changes and Updates

Even though it was a bit quiet over the last two months, I was working on several projects at the same time.

All the missing website pages have now been updated. The music page now lists the latest release at the top, while the contact and shop pages are more consistent with the overall design language. In addition, a number of bugs have been fixed, including issues with the shop page filters, the mini cart, as well as the quantity buttons.

In addition, Lan Party was officially released on March 13th, and new tote bag designs, as well as new stock, have already been prepared.

I also published a new version (v1.2.0) of my Blue Glockenspiel plugin, along with a teaser and the first iteration of my first effects plugin, Voros Saturator.

In April, I also had an important meeting with a pianist for an upcoming album, so stay tuned for that.

June Plans

I consider the website mostly finished until a complete redesign (probably next year). This means that, for now, there will likely only be bug fixes and no further design changes.

For the upcoming month, I plan to release a walkthrough and version 2.0 of my new Voros Saturator plugin, as well as make some decisions regarding possible new merch products.

This month, I felt the urge to refresh the layout and overall look of some of my social media accounts. I reorganized and updated all of my Instagram posts and archived a few on TikTok. For now, I’m really happy with how my Instagram profile looks.

In the first few days of February, I also updated the legal pages on my website “Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions” optimizing them for tablet displays and aligning them with the previous website updates.

As you might have noticed from the blog image, I’ve finished mastering my track “Lan Party.” It will be released on all platforms on March 13th.

March Plans

Next month, I’ll probably take another short break. However, if I have the time and energy, I’d like to optimize the About page and release an updated version of my Blue Glockenspiel plugin, as well as a completely new plugin I’ve been working on.

The new year started with several updates to the website. The most important and noticeable change is the addition of YouTube links to all releases. In addition, there have been a few minor visual adjustments for tablets, as well as newly added pages for the blog list.

AviundCo also received a new icon for frequently asked questions on their Instagram account, with more updates planned throughout the year.

I spent a lot of time working on the updated version of my Blue Glockenspiel sample instrument, and I’m happy to announce that the macOS version is already finished, while the Windows version is almost complete as well.

February Plans

The Blue Glockenspiel sample instrument version 1.2 is expected to be ready for release in the coming month.

In addition, there will be further updates to the pages that have not yet been adapted (the about me page and all shop-related pages). I’m also currently working on two other audio plugins that are planned for release in the near future.

Last but not least, I’ve decided to officially release my track Lan Party and have started producing a more refined version. You can follow all updates on the process via my Instagram Stories.

HAPPY NEW  YEAR!

After publishing the walkthrough of my Blue Glockenspiel plugin last month, I decided to return to it and start working on a new version.

My community had the chance to make several decisions regarding the design and features on Instagram, and I’ve already(at least partially) updated the UI.

Here you can see the current version of the updated interface.

In addition to that, I’ve been working on another plugin that I plan to release.

It’s a room/reverb plugin designed to place instruments in my own spaces. The plugins will probably be called Vörös Room, Vörös Studio, and Vörös Hall. I ran into a few issues with the larger rooms, but here you can listen to the current sound of the small one in action.

January Plans

In January, I will probably spend most of my time working on my plugins, but I’d also like to update the website a bit and create more content for social media.

There are a few bigger projects planned for the upcoming year, and I hope I will manage to finish them in time.

This month, I expanded my range of tote bag designs. In addition to last month’s release of the Blue Romance design, you can now get versions featuring the Melancholic Memories and New Spaces covers.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve started working on improving the website’s screen reader accessibility. The main homepage has already been updated, but it looks like this will take a bit more time and research.

It took a few years, but I finally released a walkthrough of my Blue Glockenspiel plugin on YouTube. I’m honestly quite proud of that plugin, and I already have a second one waiting to be released.

December Plans

For December, I’d like to continue working on improving the website’s accessibility. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have yet, but maybe I’ll also get to work on some new music and my second plugin.

It’s finally time!

The first official merch – the Vörös Tote-Bag – is out now!

I’ve bought all the necessary equipment and can now finally produce my own merchandise. The price of a single bag is, unfortunately, a bit higher than I had hoped, but stay tuned for some upcoming coupon codes 😉.

Additionally, I’ve worked on some bug fixes and design updates to support the release of my new product. The site should now be faster and more visually appealing.

November Plans

Sadly, I didn’t have time to finish the videos I wanted to create in October, but I plan to produce at least one of them in November for my YouTube channel.

Other than that, I got in touch with someone who’s helping me improve the accessibility of my website (especially for screen reader compatibility), which is very important to me and something I’d like to incorporate as much as possible.

Welcome back to my little news section.

As I mentioned in my previous blog entry, I took a short break from working on this website and other label-related projects. But now I’m slowly getting back into it.

In September, I began refining all the pages again – implementing the new font that my community chose in an Instagram poll and adjusting the layout for different screen sizes.

I also designed a logo for AviundCo, which is now actively being used on their social media accounts. More graphical and corporate identity updates will follow soon. I highly recommend checking out their Instagram page.

Since things had been quiet for a while, I thought it would be a good idea to finally release a new concept on SoundCloud. Symphonic Interlude is my first published piece that combines rocky electric guitars with an orchestral setting.

October Plans

I finally bought all the necessary equipment for my first official merch product, which I’m planning to release next month.

I’m also working on two videos: a new canvas for Spotify and another one for YouTube. Hopefully, both will be finished by the end of October.

In July, I was committed to finishing the redesign of the remaining pages.

All shop-related content was updated to match the new design language. This included the main shop page, the cart, the checkout, and the individual product pages.

As part of introducing an initial concept for future filters and simplifying the styling codebase, I was able to delete over 55,000 lines of code.

This month, I also received support from my Instagram community. I asked for honest feedback and got several helpful responses. Thank you to everyone who contributed to improving the website!

The most important highlight of this month, however, is the release of the New Spaces canvas. You can now watch a looping animation of the cover on Spotify, as well as parts of it on Instagram and TikTok. The design is based on an old teaser I created for the release, but it was completely rebuilt from scratch. More canvases will be released in the coming months.

August Plans

There are still a lot of improvements I want to make, but I think August will mostly be a bit of a break for me.

Behind the scenes, I’ll still be working on the upcoming merch and the other unnamed project. A new canvas will probably take until autumn to be finished – mostly because of the look and atmosphere I want to achieve.

This month, I took a more radical approach to reducing and updating my codebase.

I redesigned the blog list and single blog pages, along with the contact page, privacy policy, and terms and conditions page.

I also rewrote parts of the homepage, header, and footer, and added code structures to make future changes easier and more accessible.

In total, I managed to remove over 10,000 lines of code. Unfortunately, this didn’t lead to any significant performance improvements.

The biggest news this month is the release of “Beste Band der Welt” by ubahnpudding. This single marked my first experience as a sound engineer and producer for a punk band. The recording process came with many challenges, and almost nothing went as planned – but I’m very interested in working with them again, possibly on a future album.

I’ve already acquired about 80% of the necessary equipment and materials for an upcoming merch product that I’m designing and producing myself. Right now, I’d say a release at the end of summer is a realistic goal.

July Plans

As I’ve already mentioned, a merch product is currently in production. I’m doing my best to achieve the best possible quality-to-price ratio, and I’m committed to producing it myself. That’s why it’s taking longer than expected.

There’s another ongoing project that I’d still like to keep under wraps. All I’ll say for now is that I hope it turns out as well as I imagine – and that it’s connected to official platforms like Spotify.

Of course, I’ll continue working on the website too. Next up, I plan to improve the About page, as well as the mini cart and other store-related pages.

May has passed and once again the month brought a lot of updates to this website.

One of the most significant changes was the revision of the permalink structure. All pages now feature clean, easy-to-read URLs – such as vorosmarty.at/music/ – making navigation more intuitive. As a result, the official links on Instagram have also been updated.

There were further improvements to breakpoints, color schemes, and design elements to ensure a more consistent look and feel across all updated pages.

The music page and section, including individual album pages and the footer, received a complete redesign. During this process, over 2,700 lines of code were removed, leading to a noticeable boost in the website’s overall performance – particularly in SEO and accessibility scores.

Unfortunately, not many people participated in the giveaway, but it was still a success, and the winners have already been selected. If you missed out, don’t worry – more giveaways are very likely in the future!

June Plans

I’ve finally made a decision on my first official merch product. I’ve already started purchasing the necessary equipment and will keep you updated on Instagram and here on the blog.

For June, I’m planning to update and optimize the news page as well as the individual blog posts. If time allows, other sections of the site might receive some improvements too.

Last but not least, I’ve been presented with an opportunity to release a full piano album in the coming months. If everything goes according to plan, there’s a good chance I’ll finally return to Spotify and all the other major platforms.
